If Libra succeeds, it will be holding hundreds of billions to trillions of dollars/euros/pounds/etc and using these funds to invest in a wide variety of bonds, equities, and more.
These organisations will be earning interest off holding your money. Furthermore, they will gain incredible influence in geopolitical affairs as they decide where to direct these investments.

Who Owns Libra ?
Libra is run by companies who invested over 10M USD into it. These companies all have a proportional vote in Libra governance.
Who Owns SEEDS ?
SEEDS is governed directly by the people who use it or, the ‘Citizens’ as you’re called in SEEDS. Any organisation can join SEEDS simply by setting up an account and plugging the SEEDS payment API into their app or website.
‘People’ is where you connect with the other Visitors, Residents and Citizens of SEEDS.
Transaction Fees
Libra
Libra transaction fees are less than most banks’ transfer services.
SEEDS
SEEDS charges 0 transaction fees. Not only are you not charged fees, but you actually earn money the more you use it. It is called “better-than-free” and the money you earn is called a “harvest”.
Your Wallet is where you send and receive money instantly, globally and without fees. This is also where you gather your Harvest (the money you earn for participating in this new society) and more.

Libra charges organisations small fees for accepting payments.
SEEDS
No fees! Organisations earn money for the payments they take. Further, they can earn more money for providing free services to the Citizens of SEEDS and for how “regenerative” their businesses are. SEEDS provides a whole new class of incentives for organisations. SEEDS gives Citizens the ability to write new incentives into the financial system to evolve how our society rewards behaviours.
The Market is where you find organisations who accept Seeds. Organisations are ranked by their “Regenerative Reputation”, giving more reasons for organisations to do good for our planet.
Our Economy
Libra
At present, Libra does not make clear how they intend to evolve our economic incentives. They appear to maintain the status quo of concentrating wealth, power and voice. They have yet to identify how they intend to use this power to evolve our economic systems.
SEEDS
SEEDS rewires financial incentives. Organisations earn revenue for providing value to the Citizens of SEEDS, not just selling services. These organisations can offer these services for free to consumers and still generate revenue for providing the service from the SEEDS platform. This opens the door for us to change how organisations are rewarded. Now Apple can be rewarded for how many people use Apple products and not how many products they sell. This negates the benefits for “planned obsolescence” as it is more ideal to create products that will be used for a long time rather than to sell short-lived products. SEEDS provides us a way to evolve our economic systems to be more conducive to life on this planet.

Financial Benefits
Libra
Libra’s profits are split between the founding members. Each founding member paid a minimum of $10 million. These profits are split proportionally to the “investment tokens” these companies hold.
SEEDS
SEEDS is governed by all its Citizens. SEEDS directs value to:
1) your business for accepting Seeds;
2) your wallet for participating;
3) grants that regenerate our planet;
4) your local community to collectively own assets and finance communal projects.
The Co-op is where you’re compensated for participating in decentralised governance. This is where you can ask for interest-free loans, funding for your idea, or money to regenerate our planet.
Voice
Libra
The companies behind Libra get a vote. The people who use Libra do not. There is not a clear way for people to propose ideas to the Libra consortium to be voted on.
SEEDS
With SEEDS you are financially compensated for your ideas and are given direct tools to share them. If your idea is supported by the Citizens of SEEDS you can receive funding to see your idea through.

Climate Crisis

Libra has yet to identify how they intend to address our climate crisis.
SEEDS
25% of all proposals are earmarked as grants for the most regenerative projects. Furthermore, SEEDS provides financial rewards to regenerative organisations, thereby aligning financial interest with ecological health. “Degenerative organisations” lose rewards they would have otherwise earned. This creates yet another incentive for these organisations to improve their ecological practices.
