People around the world celebrate women on the 8th of March. But, SEEDS wouldn’t be SEEDS if it didn’t go beyond that. We are creating a system where all gender is treated equally.
We aim to maintain a balanced energy for everyone who participates within the Game of SEEDS, whether that’s in votes, payments, connections, proposals or anywhere else within the ecosystem. Women, men and everyone play together in a safe space honouring the yin and yang and using these energies in the co-creation of our new world.
For centuries, women around the world have been marginalised, even when we represent over half the global population. In the last 10 years, women have experienced a shift. We have been standing up for social equality, equal pay, and women’s rights. We have united against sexual harassment and abuse. Women all over are empowered to speak up and stand up, and men are standing next to them. Today, we celebrate women and this achievement. We know there is a long road ahead, but let’s first take a moment to honour how far we have come.
Take the time today to honor the women who nurtured us, who nourished us, who taught us, who guided us, who showered us with their love and compassion, who were there for us when we felt down and low, who were there holding us, listening to us, embracing us and uplifting us, who were there loving us. They are caretakers, and the modern world is returning to its ancestral roots in many ways to honor the contributions of women throughout the world, throughout time. SEEDS is there with them.
And while women and men are genders, masculine and feminine energies can be embodied by anyone. In fact, both are important in a yin yang balance. That is why the SEEDS community is hosting regular Sacred Feminine Circles and introducing formats like “TUNE IN” with Peter Kunnemann, which is focusing on sensing into tensions we hold both individually and collectively. Furthermore, as part of the Ambassador Academy, there will be a session with Peter Kunnemann and a New Ambassador onboarding call every Full Moon. We encourage everyone who is interested to join and learn more. All of these events will be announced on the Ambassador channel on Discord.
Feminine energy (which can be embodied by anyone of any gender) is associated with intuition, reflection, creativity, empathy, nature and emotional intelligence, also known as yin. On the other side of that coin, masculine energy is associated with drive, ambition, progress, action and movement, also known as yang.
The SEEDS community has sensed that there is a need for more feminine energy or, at the very least, a balance of the two. In order to draw in more of that yin, we are bringing in sacred and holistic ceremonies, rituals and wisdom through partnerships with indigenous and shamanic tribes, very often led by women i.e. The Grandmothers and the Women of the Mother Earth Delegation.
Some of the amazing women in SEEDS got together in a sacred space to share how we envision inviting more female energy and feminine principles into how we co-create together.
We (Rain Lim, Rosalind Savage, Lisa Beck, Sara Sphinx, Martina Epple, Andrea Freidrich, Irina Stoica, Nila Phi, Amanda Faulkner & Dannie Quilitzsch) met in several constellations and sessions and have announced the beginning of regular Sacred Feminine Circles. The first one was held on the New Moon of 11 February 2021.
Every three new moons we will hold space for an open Sacred Feminine Circle, where we can all come together in unity. Between these open circles, we want to encourage and inspire others to start their own fractal circles in their bioregions, with their networks or the ones they are co-creating with for SEEDS or beyond.
The purpose of these Sacred Feminine Circles is to create a ritual to hold space for each other and open up for the human and spiritual side in us. The aim is to build trust, share meditations, music, prayers, poems, self-written inspirational words, recommendations for books, courses etc., whatever you feel is right for your circle and what is needed in that moment.
We will co-create a campaign on the SEEDS Co-Op to reward hosts and attendees for their presence and offerings. If you are or want to host a fractal circle, please reach out to Martina Epple or Dannie Quilitzsch.
