Meet SEEDizens Program has just finished its second cycle and it continues to show its magic!

One of Meet SEEDizens motivations is to support enhancing SEEDS Social Fabric through deepening, strengthening and bringing more intimacy into the Ecosystem relationships. In this cycle, 36 meetings happened, involving 30 participants and summing more than 34 hours of conversations.

Through my experience on SEEDS so far, aligned with Meet SEEDizens reflections, I’ve come to notice a few interesting aspects:

SEEDS is a place where we are allowed and invited to collectively dream together. We are collectively awakening for a real possibility of a healthy Planet with regenerative systems playing out. Some of the calls are just a reminder that we are awakening and creating beauty in unique ways, sometimes on the other side of the globe and sometimes real close to us.

“I had a great call yesterday with @marcwinn. It was great to see how we were in somewhat different universes, yet we saw how many of our interests converge and build upon each other, so much so that what emerged for both of us was an experience of reframing to a more expansive view and recognizing on a more embodied level what we’ve been doing for the last few years.” – Cassius

“It was great to meet a fellow German – a wonderful connection to home. Among the many things I appreciate about my conversation with @danko is our shared feelings for Mother Earth. I am very grateful to see that I am not alone out there exploring new ways to overcome the shortcomings of our current systems. and that only together we can go on this collective healing path. Thank you Danko for your time and energy and the awesome magic show of your daughter. Liebe Gruesse” – Kath

Another day, trying to explain SEEDS to my aunt, I could heartily feel how possible it is to create the reality of my dreams. If I am consuming things aligned with my values, working enhancing the concepts I wish to see and live in the world, interacting with people also dreaming with all these ideas. I’m not talking about a possibility in the future anymore, I’m living it in my present.

It has a huge diversity of people. SEEDS participants are people coming from the widest range of countries in the world, we don’t necessarily share common backgrounds and we are all welcome to join the spaces within the ecosystem, being a veteran or a newcomer. Side by side with this beautiful and unique diversity, Meet SEEDizens facilitates the creation of fertile terrains for rich and impacting (for the individual and sometimes for the regenerative movement) encounters.

“I loved connecting with @Laurie . She told me about her life in Zimbabwe, her work in permaculture and applying those principles to other aspects in life. I have never been able to visit Africa and it was so inspiring hearing Laurie share about the beauty of the nature, the friendliness of the people but also about how unexpected and adventurous life can sometimes be over there.” – Kirsten Wagennar

Learning from Permaculture, there are two important principles that align with this topic:

Use Edges & Value the Marginal

Use and Value Diversity

Permaculture has reminded us to reconnect with ourselves, learn from nature and create holistic systems. In the Edges, places where life and diversity are so rich, is where creativity and life synchronicities are being called to happen. We are learning to use and value them, creating more and more ‘edge’ conditions in our systems.

“Amazing conversation with @Sandhi great energy, a lot of synergies and some synchronicities. Blue Print and Mandala are incredible tools that could be very helpful for the community, Thanks for sharing!!” – Erick

Before closing this sharing I’d like to leave you with a gift inspired on some of my Meet SEEDizens experiences:

I invite you to meditate on the concept of SERENDIPITY:

Serendipity is the act of making an interesting discovery unexpectedly when looking for something else. It is, therefore, a discovery mixed with chance and wisdom (you will be surprised to find out the stories behind penicillin and Post It discoveries here).

I’ve been strongly feeling how the SEEDS ecosystem is a diverse and full of possibilities environment, and so, is the perfect place for Serendipity to happen.

One teacher once told me the importance of being alert and curious in everything we do in life so we can increase the chances of Serendipity. I would even add the importance of being open, free from pre-planned ideas or thoughts, so we can be in full presence in the places we are, listening to the subtleties that life constantly whispers to us. Then, magic continues flourishing…
