You can easily convert traditional money into Seeds, use Seeds for everyday transactions, and convert them back to your local currency any time. But once you start using Seeds, you get loads of rewards. Here are a few of the most prevalent:
- Pay no transaction fees: In order to create a real alternative currency, we never charge transaction fees or apply limits or boundaries on transactions inside the ecosystem.
- Heal our planet with every purchase/sale: Everything you do in Seeds is rewarded with scores. When you transact with regenerative individuals and organisations, you earn even higher scores. This aligns finance with purpose. Our purpose is regeneration. Are you ready to play?
- Have a direct voice in governance: All members of the community are encouraged to participate in discussions about projects and proposals, share regenerative ideas and propose campaigns. Once individuals move through the Game of SEEDS and arrive at Citizen level, you can vote directly on governance decisions like Campaigns, Alliance Share proposals and Constitution Referendums and get rewarded in Seeds for this effort.
- Earn grants for regenerative initiatives: Individuals can easily create organisations and apply for grants through the Global Passport. The community votes on the project and if it passes, the grant is awarded immediately for Campaigns and awarded upon the Go Live activation event for Alliance Share grants. Campaigns are designed to share Seeds with community members now, and Alliance Share grants are to fund regenerative projects.
- Earn an income/revenue for participating: SEEDS rewards members for inviting your community, participating in governance decisions, engaging with others on the platform and transacting with regenerative individuals and organisation. As a regenerative organisation, individuals earn higher rewards for transacting with you, creating greater incentives for both parties.
- Use a stable currency: The Seeds currency is eventually designed to become stable by responding algorithmically to demand by generating more Seeds when demand is high and burning Seeds when demand is negative. But, when more Seeds are created, the SEEDS Citizens themselves decide where that additional value goes.
