In a world grappling with environmental degradation, economic inequality, and social injustice, a ray of hope emerged in 2017 with the inception of the SEEDS Movement. SEEDS, an acronym for Sowing Ecological, Equitable, and Decentralizing Societies, is not just a movement; it is a call to action, an alternative vision, and a catalyst for change. In this essay, we will delve into the accomplishments of the SEEDS Movement, explore its pivotal role in challenging unsustainable capitalism (which does not recognize or price in the destruction of clean water and clean air (the source of all life on Earth), rise of manmade climate change, species genocide and negative social impacts of rampant predatory capitalism)and envision its future trajectory.

Here we are in 2023 at the end of a tumultuous period in world affairs. It is more clear than ever before that the current direction in human action on planet Earth is not sustainable. The SEEDS Movement arose to offer a radically new sustainable approach to human living systems based on nature and drawing from indigenous wisdom from the four corners of the world. Our purpose is creating a more beautiful, healthy, free, and connected-society where humanity
and life on our planet can more easily flourish.
We are at a critical moment of cultural and technological evolution. We are at the cusps of
planetary, environmental, economic and societal crisis. A minor adjustment in course will no
longer deter or delay the challenges we face, and "business as usual" will likely end in catastrophe. We at SEEDS believe that within these crisis exists a powerful opportunity for us to radically redesign our societies to be more equitable, prosperous and healthier (for ourselves and our planet).
This vision has not changed over the years. What have we accomplished and what have we
learned? This chart shows the timeline of events from the first formal SEEDS white paper to the end of 2022.

I. Summarizing the Accomplishments of the SEEDS Movement
The SEEDS Movement embarked on a bold journey in 2017 with the aim of “reimagining our
world,” not merely for sustainability but for “thrivability”. It seeks to provide the necessary
support, systems, and tools for a regenerative renaissance for all of humanity, a time of rebirth
and renewal for both society and the individual.
A. Thrivability Over Sustainability

Sustainability, often seen as the benchmark for environmental and social initiatives, is no longer enough. SEEDS aims for “thrivability,” where human progress is not just maintained but accelerated. “Thrivability “means creating a world where all life not only survives but thrives, where every individual has the opportunity to live a fulfilling and equitable life. It's about inspiring a vision of the future as an ongoing process of evolution that binds us together where access and development of the human imaginative potential is maximized and widely shared.
B. A Movement of Movements
SEEDS is a audacious game changing movement; it is giant leap in the imaginative
consciousness of what human beings can accomplish if they would only let themselves out of
the obsolete constraints of limitations of outmoded thinking. SEEDS is a total experiment in
approaching life and economic systems. We understand that we are facing a long process to
successfully birth this new order. But we are buoyed up on our resolve because we know that
humanity has reached the stage of development where this SEEDS vision is not only a beautiful dream but it can become a new more equitable and “thrivable way of being on planet Earth. We also know that our SEEDS movement does not stand alone; it's a movement of movements. It acts as a bridge to a new era by providing support and guidance for the diverse change- making movements across the globe. Whether it's social justice, environmental conservation, or economic reform, SEEDS brings these movements together to co-create a more satisfying and equitable civilization.
C. SEEDS Key Accomplishments

1. SEEDS CONSCIOUS CURRENCY- SEEDS starts with familiar tools: First we have created
our own unique new Earth-friendly and equitable cryptocurrency that acts in the place
of fiat money and voting that looks and feels like the currencies we know but it is
designed enhance and work with nature and not against it in a more equitable and
thrivable manner. Second, we have established our own SEEDS mobile wallet
application that operates globally on both the Apple iOS and Android platforms. To build
this operating digital wallet today from scratch today in current 2023 dollars would cost
around $2 -$4 million dollars. Third, SEEDS has developed one of the most advanced
smart contracts on the planet that is synched directly with the SEEDS wallet. Finally,
SEEDS is continuing to create entirely new tools. SEEDS supports the myriad of change-
maker movements by providing tools for harnessing the power of wealth creation and
for scaling global coordination. The tools include, among others – financial and
governance systems, and decentralised organisation tools for creating regenerative
communities.
2. Systems: SEEDS unifies various tools into a coherent ecosystem, going beyond being just
a currency. It provides systems for decision-making, coordination, and value exchange,
aligning the interests of users, communities, and the Earth.

II. The Essential Importance of SEEDS as an Alternative to Current Dominant Economic
Systems
The 21st century has witnessed the dominance of unsustainable predatory capitalism, which
prioritizes profit over people and the planet. SEEDS offers a radical invention, a viable
alternative that challenges the status quo. It started with the notion that in order fix the world
we needed to invent a new earth-friendly currency not under the control of central banks and
large corporations. It is a currency called Seeds, which, unlike fiat currency, every single time
you use it, the result is the betterment of the environment and the lives of the people who use
it.
A. Subsidizing Regenerative Practices
SEEDS finances the Regenerative Renaissance by subsidizing and rewarding practices that are social, environmental, financial, and holistic in nature. It shifts the incentive structure away from short-term profit and towards long-term regeneration.

III. The Future Evolution of the SEEDS Movement and SEEDS Cryptocurrency in 2024 and
Beyond The SEEDS Movement has come a long way since its inception in 2017, learning valuable lessons along the journey. And yes it has stumbled along the way. The first tokenomics design for the SEEDS token inadequately addressed the need for a liquidity pool and for staging when and how the SEEDS token could eventually be converted to fiat currency during the period of fiat currency dominance. It also failed to recognize that value had to be created from grass roots
local projects and migrate up the SEEDS cryptocurrency use chain. It did not fully eliminate
speculation as a motivator for SEEDS users. .
As it looks to the future, several key developments are on the horizon.
A. DAO Governance
The SEEDS Community has evolved its governance process, establishing the SEEDS
Collaboratory Anchor DAO. This decentralized autonomous organization consists of circles and councils responsible for various aspects of SEEDS' evolution. In 2023 we completed the rewrite of the SEEDS Constitution which will be placed into staging by the end of this year, in the SEEDS
Collaboratory DAO for discussion and eventual approval. We have also commenced the revision of the SEEDS Community Guide. And during 2024 we expect to establish a legal domicile for the SEEDS Collaboratory DAO.
B. Redesigned SEEDS Cryptocurrency
A professional tokenomics expert has been hired to help redesign the SEEDS cryptocurrency.
The new SEEDS 2.0 cryptocurrency design will create value from the bottom up, driven by
bioregional ecovillage impact rather than speculative trading. SEEDS 2.0 will be released by the beginning of the Q2 in 2024. In Q1 of 2024 we will also be transferring 79 million milestone Seeds into the SEEDS ollaboratory DAO account. The discussion is now that some of these SEEDS will be used to compensate the tireless volunteer efforts of all those who helped get us to this stage of development in 2024. There is also an effort underway now which should be in place by early 2024 to create a nonprofit based source of fiat currency to pay for needed smart contract and SEEDS wallet updates.
C. Emphasis on Bioregionalism
SEEDS' commitment to supporting Earth-based bioregionalism remains unwavering. A strategic alliance with GAIA Union and its Latin American Fractal, Spirall BioLab, brings expertise in weaving bioregions in the virtual DAO space.

creating new possibilities and methods that will enable its members to scale and evolve its
networks and coordination to achieve greater and greater human consciousness and
awareness.
This evolutionary journey will continue as Citizens propose, discuss and ratify (vote-in)
individual changes to the SEEDS Community Guide and this Constitution, using the SEEDS
governance processes as harnessed in the SEEDS Collaboratory Anchor Decentralized
Autonomous Organization (DAOs) blockchain enabled virtual governance protocols.
